Hello Kitty for bad police?
It seems that Thailand has decided to punish it's police officers who break rules, by making them wear a Hello Kitty armband. The idea seems to be that shaming and embarrassing the cops will do more for discipline than a standard type of punishment.
Pongpat, the chief of the Crime Suppression Division in Bangkok said,
"Simple warnings no longer work. This new twist is expected to make them feel guilt and shame and prevent them from repeating the offense, no matter how minor"
This has to be the most bizarre and strange way of punishing someone I've ever heard of.

The CSD (Crime Suppression Division) in Bangkok has proposed that those men should wear girlish stuff for punishment.
Another CSD happened one week ago in my town. Some of those men would have loved to do this.
Funny how different people can feel.

Thesis - antithesis --> synthesis:
Yesterday evening I found this theme also to be a topic in the biggest german newsbroadcast (also in internet: tagesschau.de).
They concluded with:
"It's yet possible, that also here the kitten, as already in other domains, will become a fashion".
Let's see.
My assumption is, that the initiators could have a good amount of kitty company shares... :-)
